Can I really work from home + homeschool at the same time?
You sure can! It’s not easy, since working and homeschooling can both be full-time jobs in and of themselves. Some moms find they need to work for financial reasons or for health insurance. Others want to enjoy keeping a toe in the workforce or having something “extra” to do that allows a creative outlet.
There is no “right” way to work & homeschool – you’ll have to find the type of job and style of home education that works best for your individual family. That may look like…
- Homeschooling your children and enjoying a “side hustle” in your spare time
- Working a part-time job in afternoons/evenings/weekends while homeschooling your kids during the day
- Working a full-time job M-F while supervising your kids’ education via an online platform
- Freelancing on a project-by-project basis during seasons in your life when you have more free time (i.e. summer break)
Our goal at Working Homeschool Moms is to help you find the right balance of working from home and homeschooling for YOUR family – whatever that entails.
Do you provide job listings?
We do not provide a job board or employment directory. Instead, we provide information on what we believe to be the most lucrative and rewarding jobs for work-at-home moms.
We’ll teach you about various work-from-home, freelance, and remote options & how to get started, as well as instructions on how to find great remote work opportunities on trusted hiring sites.
Do you promote MLMs or “network marketing”?
While we recognize the great success many moms have attained when joining Multi-Level Marketing companies, we do not promote those opportunities on Working Homeschool Moms.
Our site is not in the business of “quick money” promises and pyramid schemes.
The income-earning opportunities we endorse take hard work and real skills – but they also achieve real results. Thousands of moms are making money at home while they use their gifts & talents in a fulfilling way, and they are able to enjoy being present with their kids while they do it!
What kind of work do you do?
When we’re not writing for Working Homeschool Moms for fun, our team members work in the digital marketing space doing content creation, email marketing, social media management, copywriting, and editing.
We work part-time hours and make full-time salaries as freelancers, and we started this site to show you how to do it too!
Why don’t you use your names and faces? How do I know you’re a real person?
Our privacy & the privacy of our families is extremely important to us. We know a lot of influencers and bloggers create more genuine followings & communities when people can see their faces and relate to them as humans – and we preach this to our clients as well!
But we’re not trying to be famous π
We believe we can still share our knowledge with you and encourage you in your working/homeschool journey even if you don’t know what we look like.
You can follow us on Facebook & Instagram to interact with us socially, and we’re always available by email!
